Canadian Opera Volunteer Committee

The Canadian Opera Volunteer Committee is a non-profit volunteer organization committed to:

• Promoting and supporting opera, and in particular the COC through fundraising initiatives
• Offering members special opportunities to experience operatic events
• Raising money by way of donations, sponsorships, sales or otherwise, to accept gifts, legacies, devices and bequests, and to hold, invest, expand or deal with the same in furtherance of its objectives
• Maintaining contacts with other operatic volunteer organizations in North America and internationally
• Providing financial assistance and opportunities to students and graduates of Schools of Music placing particular emphasis on the Opera Division of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto
