Kingston Opera Guild

Looking for like-minded opera enthusiasts in the Kingston area?

The Kingston Opera Guild holds meetings once a month from September to April and organizes bus trips from Kingston to Toronto to see the operas presented by the Canadian Opera Company. Members enjoy many advantages:

  • obtain opera tickets at special prices;
  • receive information about operatic events in and near Kingston;
  • attend lectures about opera and the operas of the current Canadian Opera Company season;
  • join bus charters to attend Canadian Opera Company performances in Toronto; and
  • attend special events such as the very popular annual picnic.

Yearly membership rates are $40 for a family, $25 for individuals, and $10 for students.

2011/2012 Season


There will be three more meetings of the Kingston Opera Guild for the 2012-2013 season. Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at the Ongwanada Resource Centre, 191 Portsmouth Ave.
