Western New York Opera Guild

Looking for like-minded opera enthusiasts in the Western New York area?

The main purpose of the only non-Canadian Guild of Friends is to offer trips—day and overnight—to Toronto for Canadian Opera Company performances.

Nothing can compare to the experience of live opera performance and we are indeed fortunate to have the COC within reach. As a Guild we receive seating priority (after subscribers). Often after the opera we meet with some of the international star singers for photos and questions.

To avoid the stress of driving, join us on the bus and relax and meet others from Western New York who also love opera. COC subscribers are also welcome to join us on the bus if their ticket date is the same as our bus trip!

Membership Benefits

Our membership is $25, valid September to August. During the summer, we usually offer a trip either to Glimmerglass (this year) or to Ohio Light Opera.

Become a member of the Western New York Guild and you can:

  • get 10% off Premier or Select Subscriptions;
  • get 15% off tickets to individual performances;
  • join bus charters to attend Canadian Opera Company performances in Toronto; and
  • take part in other special events.
