MIREILLE ASSELIN – Soprano


Soprano Mireille Asselin is a new member of the COC Ensemble Studio. Recent credits include Galatea in Acis and Galatea and Servilia in La clemenza di Tito with Opera Atelier, understudying the title role in Niobe with Boston Early Music Festival and concert appearances throughout North America and England, including her Carnegie Hall debut in April 2011. Other operatic credits include the title role in Theodora with the Bach Collegium San Diego, Michal/Merab in Saul with the Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra, Adele in Die Fledermaus with Opera Hamilton, First Witch in Dido and Aeneas with Opera Atelier on their tour to Seoul and Pamina in the feature film Magic Flute Diaries. She completed her bachelor of music at The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music and her master’s degree through Yale University’s opera program.
