Win Tickets to the Wine Auction

Our 13th Annual Fine Wine Auction is coming up next week, and whether you're a collector or just looking for a wine-filled night out, we think you should be there (check out She Does the City's coverage of last year's event for a preview of the fun to be had). To that end, we're giving away a pair of tickets!

Thinking of entering but need some convincing? In addition to the live wine auction, you can look forward to:

  • A performance by powerhouse Ensemble Studio soprano Ambur Braid, who performed at the last two Operanation events
  • Delicious cheeses courtesy of the Cheese Boutique
  • Lots of wine for sampling
  • A well-stocked silent auction
  • Raffle for a 1.26 carat Canadian diamond valued at $20,000

To win tickets, email (use subject line: "Wine Auction Giveaway") with answers to the following three questions:

1. Which Canadian indie band did Ambur Braid perform with at Operanation 8 in 2011? (Find the answer here)

2. What was the top selling bottle at our 2011 auction? (Find the answer here)

3. Which foodie festival will the Cheese Boutique be participating in next month? (Find the answer here)

The wine auction will take place Thursday, April 12 at The Design Exchange, starting at 6 p.m. The winner will be chosen at random from those who email with the correct answers, and announced at 12 p.m. this Thursday, April 5. Good luck, wine lovers!

UPDATE: We received 21 entries in total and the winner of the contest is Tammy Rogers!
