The sound of the "aida" trumpets at tonights opening was magnificent. Well done in both the construction of the instruments and the performance by the musicians. I heard a recent performance by the Met of Aida and the trumpet section at COC sounded substantially better in intonation and blend with the orchestra. kudos to the COC.
