Rising tenor star Russell Thomas portrays Hoffmann, a young poet prone to fantastical daydreams. He spins his remarkable tales of three beautiful and elusive women to a bar full of avid listeners. His pursuit of these three great loves is constantly challenged by a quartet of demonic characters, all brilliantly played by world-renowned Canadian bass-baritone John Relyea.
On stage at the Four Seasons Centre, 145 Queen St. W., Toronto. Performance time is approximately three hours, 25 minutes including two intermissions. Sung in French with English SURTITLES™.
