To the Sea in Ships To the Sea in Ships is an escape to adventure on the high seas, through songs of swashbucklers and navies and the fisher-folk of many cultures. Featuring Sea Fever, British composer John Ireland's setting of the famous John Masefield poem for baritone and piano, and The Mariner's Albatross, a new work by Toronto composer Juliet Hess for tenor with oboe, clarinet, bassoon and double bass, the program will also include richly varied works by British composer Arthur Bliss, the American Lee Hoiby, and Canadians William Wallace and Sir Ernest MacMillan.
