The Canadian Opera Company's 14th Annual Fine Wine Auction is tomorrow, and whether you're a wine aficionado or just interested in a wine-filled party, you should definitely raise a glass and join us. Whet your appetite with some delicious hors d'oeuvres, enjoy a selection of wines by Trius, and get your paddles ready for our auction lots! Inside Opera: Salome, Playing with Shadows

The Canadian Opera Company's popular Inside Opera video series is back with a behind-the-scenes look at Richard Strauss's Salome. Inside Opera: Creating Lucia: Part Two

The Canadian Opera Company's popular Inside Opera video series is back with a behind-the-scenes look at Lucia di Lammermoor. In case you missed it, revisit our first video in the spring series, Creating Lucia: Part One, featuring soprano Anna Christy and director David Alden discussing her interpretation of the famous role. 

In Creating Lucia: Part Two, Anna Christy reveals her excitement about singing at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, discusses her artistic connection with director David Alden, and the trust it takes to bring out a great performance. Watch the video for a sneak peek of the rehearsal process for Lucia di Lammermoor, as David Alden directs a scene between Anna Christy and bass Oren Gradus (Raimondo).
