Rehearsals for Tosca start later this month, and the costume fittings are already beginning. Tosca is set in the summer of the year 1800, during the early years of the Napoleonic wars (the Battle of Marengo is a plot point in the opera), and set and costume designer Kevin Knight strove for historical accuracy in his designs.
