The Canadian Opera Company announced today a new mainstage commission: The Old Fools by celebrated Montreal-based composer Ana Sokolović and seasoned British librettist Paul Bentley. This opera in two acts was inspired by “The Old Fools” by renowned English poet Philip Larkin.
