This season marks a significant milestone for the
Free Concert Series in the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre as we hit 1,000 concerts and beyond! Since its inception in 2006, the Free Concert Series has invited one and all into the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts to experience the incomparable power of live performance. Over the years, we’ve presented a staggering array of artists from different disciplines and genres, from the thundering taiko drums of Japan to the soulful Persian
kamanche; international opera luminaries to young piano prodigies; and Grammy award-winning jazz virtuosos to powerful Indigenous voices
With this breadth of diversity at our core, it’s fitting that the stunning wall of glass surrounding the
amphitheatre provides a window into one of the world’s most multicultural cities. The performances fuse with the backdrop of daily life in Toronto to produce a kaleidoscope of sound and
colour where art reflects life and vice versa. I invite you to join us as we cross into quadruple digits, celebrating our rich legacy and looking ahead to the many exhilarating concerts in our future.
