Highlighting the beauty of music, cultural identity, and language, the Showcase Series is a community-minded initiative featuring the Asian, African and Caribbean, and Latin American diasporas in Toronto.

As we celebrate our five-year milestone this upcoming May, the Community Partnerships & Programs team takes great pride in amplifying over 340 performers, through 60 sessions (and counting!)

By continuing to develop new relationships with culturally diverse communities and championing culturally responsive learning opportunities, this series aims to improve representation and inclusivity within the arts in more authentic ways and support an understanding of the diverse identities and experiences within the diasporas.

During the months of October, February, and May, our sessions connect with new audiences to bring increased access to the arts. We invite you to join us for these community-minded concerts featuring cultural and musical identities from the continent of Asia.

May 2026: Asian Heritage Month

Our third and final segment for the season presents four performances featuring artists within the Asian communities in Toronto. Participants will have the opportunity to experience Korean traditional dance, hear original works from Middle-Eastern composers, discover traditional Indian Odissi dance, and listen to newly composed Chinese Art Song.
