As we approach nearly 20 years based in Canada’s first and finest purpose-built opera house, we want you to hold a unique seat for all of the memories and milestones to come—your seat.
Through our Name A Seat campaign, the Canadian Opera Company is offering the unique opportunity to name one or more seats in R. Fraser Elliott Hall, world-renowned for its acoustic excellence, unparalleled sightlines, and spatial intimacy.
For a limited time, seats in rings 3, 4, and 5 are available for naming at $1,000 each with every contribution making a meaningful impact on the future of Canadian opera.
There are so many wonderful reasons to Name A Seat: as a special gift, honouring a passionate opera lover in your life; for yourself, to celebrate your many years of Canadian opera memories; or in loving memory of someone close to you.
Your seat naming includes:
- Recognition in COC programs for 12 months following your seat dedication
- Digital Seat Naming Certificate
- Charitable tax receipt for the full amount (maximum allowable amount by CRA)
- Invitation to an exclusive COC event to unveil your seat plaque

Seat locations will be assigned after your donation is received with priority given to your order date. Our donations office will be in touch to confirm your seat location.
Your seat location will be assigned based on the best available options; you can give your preference of Ring 3, Ring 4, or Ring 5.

Name A Seat inscriptions may be two lines long with a limit of 27 characters per line, including spaces.
