Aqua's Red Rhythm & Blues is a magical and soulful blend of IndigiQueer~Blues music.

The soothing sounds of strings, unforgettable melodies, and the harmonious heartbeat of Mother Earth weave together into the universal language of love. Creator and lead vocalist Aqua crafts poetry inspired by their Anishinaabe Two-Spirit experience overcoming intergenerational trauma, homelessness, mental health, addictions, violence, and traumatic brain injuries. Together with the trio, Nichole Leveck’s captivating fancy shawl dance brings these stories to life on stage, educating and serving as a symbol of reconciliation on our shared lands. Audience members are invited to engage in a meaningful way, creating space for healing and uniting multiple traditions that span countless generations.
