Clap… Hum… Rise… is an interactive performance that bridges Iranian folkloric music with contemporary sound worlds.

Drawing on centuries-old melodies and traditions, the work invites the audience to join in through rhythmic clapping and call-and-response—transforming the concert experience into a shared act of solidarity.

The piece features new arrangements developed in collaboration with Milad Bagheri, a leading voice in Iranian folk music. Together with contemporary classical vocalist and performer Shaghayegh Bagheri, and composer-pianist Homa Samiei, the trio offers a participatory reimagining of tradition and creates a bridge to the contemporary world where voice, acting, and community meet in real time.
