Ballet Jörgen is delighted to present highlights from its enchanting new production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream—a uniquely Canadian adaptation of Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, set to Mendelssohn’s timeless music.

With over 38 years of experience creating intimate, humorous, and high-quality classical ballets, Ballet Jörgen brings this magical story to life in a way that resonates with audiences of all ages. Set in northern Canada, the production celebrates the beauty and spirit of our country’s vast North. The narrative is rooted in a real historical moment: the 1951 cross-country tour of Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, adding a rich layer of Canadian heritage to this timeless tale.

The program will also feature a selection of excerpts from other classical and contemporary ballets, offering a dynamic and engaging experience for the whole family.
