Second prize laureate and audience prize winner of the Concours musical international de Montréal in 2017, Guarreramakes a long-awaited return to Canada with a fascinating program which includes interspersed preludes and fugues by Bach and Shostakovich, Beethoven's Sonata No. 26 (Les Adieux), and Liszt's Mephisto Waltz No. 1.
