Master and Pupil celebrates the rich musical lineage between Joseph Haydn and his famed student, Ludwig van Beethoven.

This program honours their enduring influence, pairing the elegance of the Classical era with the bold spirit of early Romanticism. Performed by the COC String Quartet, a newly formed ensemble bringing together the string leaders of the COC Orchestra: Marie Bérard and Aaron Schwebel (violins), Sheila Jaffé (viola), Guillaume Artus (cello). This performance will mark their official debut—a beginning shaped by the legacy of two great composers. Join them on their first musical journey together!
