Al son del Difunto is a theatrical story inspired by the Mexican tradition of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), where life and death come together through music, dance, and memory.

The Mexicans Folk Ballet takes us on a colourful, humorous, and emotional journey in which the departed return to celebrate alongside those who still remember them.

Through Mexican folk dance and music, the piece explores love, loss, and the importance of keeping our memories alive. A celebration of life that reminds us that those we love never truly disappear.
