Traffic Advisory

Please note: subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and College stations will be replaced by shuttle buses starting at 11 p.m. nightly from 11 p.m. between Monday, May 12 and Friday, May 16, for planned track work.

Lawrence and Summerhill stations will be closed during these times. There will also be limited subway service on Line 1 between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Station and Pioneer Village stations from 11 p.m. nightly from Monday, May 12 until Friday, May 16, due to planned tunnel work. Customers can expect delays of up to 20 minutes when travelling between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and Pioneer Village stations.

The May 14 performance of Wozzeck also coincides with the Toronto Maple Leafs' home playoff game. Expect further traffic and travel delays as a result.

As well, Queen Street remains fully closed from Bay Street to Victoria Street until late fall 2027, creating further travel delays in the area. Please plan accordingly and leave plenty of time to get to the opera house.
