When not hosting the Canadian Opera Company or the National Ballet of Canada, the mainstage of R. Fraser Elliott Hall provides a versatile space, ideal for a range of performances, symposiums, corporate presentations, or elegant dinners.
High-tech design features in the space include built-in 4K cameras, capable of recording and livestreamed broadcast, a control room, and a digital recording studio. There is generous backstage storage on all three sides of the mainstage. As well, the hydraulic orchestra pit has two sections which can be elevated independently, providing several layout options to highlight special set pieces, displays, or a podium.
