Discover how some of the off-stage creative departments—including props, hair and make-up, and costumes—are preparing for our spring operas, Medea and Don Pasquale. Demonstrations will be led by the talented artists and creators who make COC productions come alive.

Spotlight Series: Anatomy of an Opera: Aportia Chryptych: A Black Opera for Portia White

Thursday, May 16 at 6 p.m.

Members of the creative and production teams will lead a lively panel discussion on the creation of this bold new opera about Black Nova Scotian contralto Portia White. An exciting opportunity for members to get an exclusive sneak peek of this world premiere from composer Sean Mayes and director and librettist HAUI.
